The Birthday Post

Not too long ago, one of us turned 19! The big one-nine! This is none other than our very own Woan Shiang, whose birthday fell on 7 April.

I am very sure all of us would remember this very date as we were all sweaty palmed and boring our noses into our books, waiting for the time to go into the much dreaded hall. Yes, you’ve guessed it, 7 April was also the day we had our Histology examination! Although there weren’t any after-lecture birthday announcements by Imran, everybody in the waiting room sang Ms. See the Happy Birthday song (awwwh, how sweet of them!)

Exactly a week later, we all celebrated Woan Shiang's birthday at this place called Arirang. It was an all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu a’la steamboat dinner cum party. Yummy! The birthday girl was clad in a brown top and a pair of white pants. With some powder and some make up, the birthday girl stole the limelight of the night.

With good food, an excellent venue and great company, the celebration was in short, a blast!
